Cannibals Soup

Did anyone else have these trading cards as a kid? They were a take-off on popular products of the day. Boy, I had forgotten all about these. Funny.

Wacky-packs.

Used to get them for a quarter a package. Those and Star Wars Trading cards.

I was always so angry that I could only get THREE packages with my dollar because I never had the three (or it may have gone to four, by then) cents in sales tax to get four packages. It seemed so unfair. Hells it IS unfair, but that is a rant and I'm strolling behind Jimmy on memory lane.

I'm remembering a 12 year old boy who was on his way to becoming a Heroic Starship Captain/Jedi Knight who would Right all of the Wrongs.

Thirty years ago...

Use the Force, kid.

Fletcher: Yep, that clever pricing was indeed a scam. I recall having the same headache.

I remember being on that same path to heroism. When we were kings, my friend.

Davis: "Sweetened through the ages just like wine."

It's things like this that make me wish I was older. So many things I missed...and I'm sorry I missed those!

Hilarious!

Yeah, the humor is rather subversive, ain't it? Can you imagine such a thing being marketed to kids today?

I will tell you all about the good ol' days, Heather. I'm always at your disposal. :)

Jimmy and I, jedi Knights! Beware evil-doers!

I don't like my Jedi name from the Jedi name Generator, though.

WILFL JOHAC

Davis, we actually sell canes in the tobacco shop, so I'll get a new one when I need it. :)

I am Belle Pope, also known as Artemis of the Winged Death.

Very nice.

Faith Pope, at your pleasure. Also called the Seductress of Slovenia, and with good reason....

"A traveller in a foreign land, struck down by a mysterious wasting disease."

...WTF?? Why do I have to be dying??

Oh, well, guess I have to step up my role of Seductress while there's still time...
